The small HOA also has a lovely amphitheater where they hold a handful of concerts every summer. There is a local market just down the street that has a great deli and all the household essentials. Tahoma is about a 10-15 min drive down Westshore from Tahoe City. There's a saying that the "Westshore is the Best shore" and it really feels like it in Tahoma. It's a very peaceful neighborhood and still has that feeling of the High Sierra. It is a great neighborhood to walk around and you can access trails into the Tahoe National Forest just up the street.
