Vice President of Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty, Camille Duvall is an animating force behind her team of outstanding real estate professionals within the Tahoe region. In Camille’s myriad life experiences she’s worked as a broadcast journalist for ESPN, Fox Sports, and Outdoor Life Network, earned 5 world-champion titles in professional water skiing, named one of Sports Illustrated 100 Greatest Athletes of the Century, and was the Director of Sales for Warburg Realty, one of New York City’s oldest real estate institutions since 1896. While Camille’s discipline and dedication is apparent from her lifetime of achievements, you may be caught off guard by her incredibly warm and engaging spirit. In fact, Camille applies her talents to people, bringing a similar depth of devotion and commitment to supporting her agents’ ultimate success.
A former New Yorker and working broker in its fast-paced environment, Camille has been in the real estate agent trenches. She is broker-centric, looking at all opportunities and challenges through an agent’s eyes first, and with the intent to share ideas and solve problems collectively. Camille is inspired by agents who think outside the box and who operate in a space of integrity and conviviality combined with a great sense of humor. She believes that a collaborative, warm environment where everyone can fire on all cylinders brings about greater levels of achievement and creativity all around. And she has the track record to prove it.
Prior to joining Sierra Sotheby’s in 2019, Camille experienced a rewarding career working among NYC’s best and brightest real estate professionals. In her first year, she was honored by the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) for “Deal of the Year,” applauding her perseverance and sharp negotiating skills in a complex transaction. In 2015, after a decade as a top broker at Warburg, Camille was appointed Sales Director for the firm’s new office in the Flatiron District. Within a short period of time, her office produced 3 of the top 10 brokers throughout the company. Camille herself was ranked #4 on the list. In 2016, she further solidified her position in the upper echelons of NYC real estate by becoming one of three new inductees to the Ethics Committee of REBNY, as well as an Executive Board member for the New York Residential Specialists (NYRS). In 2018, Camille was named as Co-Chair of the Real Estate Board of New York's Ethics Committee.
After 30 years spent in Manhattan working and raising her two children, Camille now enjoys the vastly more laid-back California lifestyle and Truckee’s year-round outdoor activities. This Water Ski Hall of Fame inductee now takes it easy with (more than) the occasional rock climbing excursions, cycling, tennis, snow skiing, and of course, water skiing. If she can combine her work with her passion for the outdoors, meeting up with an agent on a chair lift or out on the water, it’s a perfect day. When Camille’s not outside, you may find her at one of the local comedy clubs, or dining at any one of the restaurants that lay claim to serving one of the area's best margaritas.
